Royal Crown Derby Past and Present

Royal Crown Derby has been manufacturing ceramics of the highest quality for over 250 years. In 1981 they introduced the first range of paperweights (Owl, Duck, Quail, Penguin, Wren and Rabbit). Being aesthetically pleasing, useful and highly collectable the paperweights soon gained a worldwide reputation for their quality and originality whilst retaining Royal Crown Derby's long-standing traditions. The paperweights are perfect for the highly skilled designers to showcase the rich heritage at Royal Crown Derby, as well as being able to introduce original and creative ideas in line with the forward-thinking ethos at the factory.

We stock both new and pre-owned paperweights as we appreciate that collectors of these beautiful and wide-ranging paperweights very often wish to build up their collections, involving the acquisition of retired pieces.
